Title: Greetings and Salutations
Post by: RatVette on 02 December 2016, 20:13:30
I'm a 50 year old Texan Living in Germany.Work as a mechanic for a firm that restores and maintains Pre-War automobils.
Been driving Omegas since forever. My last Omega was a 97 model that I bought in 2001.I drove it until a few weeks ago.Sadly we had to part ways because of "Technical Difficulties".
I just purchased a 98 model with only 117K on the odometer. It has it's Omega problems, but I'm hoping that it will serve me as long as the last one did.

Hi RatVette

Moin moin and a warm welcome to OOF!

I own a 98 X20XEV too. She is a MT saloon, built on 23th July 1998. Typical Omega problems I fixed last summer. She has 212.000 km on the odometer and TUV (MOT) June 2018. At the present time she is sleeping over winter. Daily driver is a 97 Caravan, also X20XEV but AT. Not a beauty, but a perfect long distance runner.

Keep on running!

Rolf
