dear Omega friends. just recently when i start my car the alarm sounds, its not very loud and it only goes on for a few seconds, it doesnt happen everytime. Has anyone heard of this? I think probably some kind of auto electric fault and if thats the case im just going to leave it but if anyone has any ideas id be most appreciated. Les

Could be the sounder circuit board shorting out due to leaking batteries on to the board ....if it is then it is a common fault and can lead to it catching fire, so be carefull to check it out :y

Either a new power sounder from Vauxhall .... IIRC mine was something like £70
or ......
You could try replacing the batteries in the power sounder

It could also be a sign that your main battery voltage is a bit low
Not uncommon given the cold temperatures at the moment
But whatever it is, don`t ignore any early warning signs of a fault - Your local battery centre will give you a quick battery voltage and charging check, and if you are near any OOF members on here, I`m sure they would do it in return for a Bacon Butty or Hob Nobs

Horn sound or electronic siren sound (possibly with horn sound at same time).
