I'm not 100% sure I do need this as not proven this is the problem but does anyone have a working fuel pump for a 2.6 auto estate, 2001??

If you buy just the pump, and not all the other parts of the submerged-pump-assembly, a new one isn't expensive.

Exactly. But not easy to post like that on my phone ;D
£18 delivered for a new one makes buying a used one daft.

Well my replacement fuel pump arrived today, I ordered the one listed above without doing much checking (my own fault for being in a hurry).
On arrival I've opened it and the new pump looks different at the top and has different connections to it. Have I ordered the wrong pump for the 2.6 or is it that I just need to put connectors on the wires and join them to the originals ??
