Hi , I have 1995 opel omega . I already have bmw m62 v8 engine.for swapping engine I have problem with steering box.I have to change it.but I don't know which type or model .can u help me plz

I suspect you will need to replace the steering box with a rack. If I remember correctly, one from a Nissan Almera fits with some modification.

Not sure about the 7 series, but the E39 V8s have steering boxes as there simply isn't anywhere under the engine to fit a rack...

Successfully modifying steering is a job that requires a deep understanding of the geometry involved, and good fabrication skills. You cannot just chuck a different steering linkage where your project engine allows and expect it to work. Many projects are abandoned at this stage, including mine. It's often easier to use a different engine than modify the steering: one of my previous projects reverted to a four cylinder engine rather than the intended V6 for this reason.

This is a job that if you have to ask, you're probably not going to be able to do.
