Title: not a good xmas
Post by: pauls on 19 December 2016, 21:06:35
About 15mins ago 3 fire engines went passed my house with lights and everything going. I got up and went out side to have a look and just as i looked down the street whoosh up in flames went the house at the bottom of my cul de sac.  Flames where coming out of everywhere as i type this other fire engine gone passed that makes 5 now. No paramedics so hopefully nobody in the house. Anyway not going to be a good christmas :-[

Your wife asked the fireman for a statement? Is she a part time insurance assessor?  ;D

Mice will chew through wires and can cause them to short out. If the circuits aren't properly protected this can cause fires obviously.   :-\

I used that crack when the police turned up here, I said to them it must have been the lights for my secret tomato plants. It took them a few seconds to realise I was joking, enough time for me to regret being a smartarse  :-[
