Title: And yet another Exhaust question
Post by: peter the butcher on 03 January 2017, 15:42:31: simple question really, but bound to get a few conflicting answers ( I hope)
As my health is crap, and have to rely on garages, is it best to get an exhaust supplied and fitted at my garage, taking into account the cock up they made last year of a rear ball joint, 3 hours? took them 3 chuffing days :-X OR go to an "exhaust" place, and just get them to do it, what would they do, just get a "genuine" part(s)

Post by: ronnyd on 03 January 2017, 16:19:56: I was in your position last year, so got the exhaust from Poland and got my trusted mechanic to fit it. He said it was a doddle to fit, there are trusted places out there you know, you just have to look. :y

Post by: biggriffin on 03 January 2017, 16:45:45: Order a complete yes complete , new system from either ets or eternal, will come from Poland cost about £100, then, find yourself a new garage to fit it for £50 tops. ;)

I am the person who booked a flight 2 years ago, and even cocked that up, when putting my CC number in, it cost to change it :(

How they do it so cheap I don't know.My local garage fitted for £70.00.The back box outlet is a little short so I fitted a chrome extension which looks very good :y
