Title: WANTED: CDR2005 stereo and outside temperature sensor

Hi guys,

CD player won't play my shizzle. I've tried CD cleaners to no avail. So what can someone do me for?

And my outside temp on the dash is read at 46.5 degrees Celsius even though I had to scrape ice off the windscreen  ::)

I may be wrong but I think the outside sensors are about £3 from Vauxhall, also the most common failure is in a  wiring loom it shares with the front fog lamps.

Thanks chaps. Sensor ordered. If it is wiring at least I got a new sensor for when it does go for peanuts.  :y

Now. This dang stereo.....

Does the facia come off? I.e. It's swappable? Found one cheap. But worn buttons and I like them to be mint.

Should be four screws either side, assuming bear paws don't rip the front off when removing... should be able to swap the boards from old facia to new ;) just be sure to swap EVERYTHING from the back of your facia to the new one just in case any of it is coded ;)

Cheers TA. I've had stereo out a couple of times so should be a piece of piss.

And I promise I don't play copied cd's, cd-rw's etc. Thing won't play my spice girls death metal cds for nothing!
