I've just bought 12 bottles of Staropramen 5% lager. This is new to me. :)
This is genuine Czechoslovakian lager lovingly brewed in Burton on Trent, Czechoslovakia. :y
-
It's good :y
So is the Coop own brand Czech lager.

Not cheap though, Nick.
£12 for 12x330ml bottles from Sainsburys.

Quality is more important than quantity. Cheap beer is rarely worth drinking.

So quality has never normally been high on the agenda then?
-
I've liked these, ordered them if available at the bar :)

It's not a bad drop to be honest, and when I used to live in Brizzle, the local boozer had it on tap. :y
It caused many a headache! ::) ;D

Jeez...have you no taste? All three of those are f@ckin awful :o
My favourite is Tuborg but it`s getting difficult to get at the moment so it`s either Corona or Peroni, which is a lovely drink but boy does it give me a bad head ;D

Traditional "London" Porter - Brewed in Hampshire. ::)
Confirms what I always suspected; that when driving east from Gods own Somerset you entered London shortly after passing Stonehenge.

OK. Not sure what the traditional brew is in Basingstoke where it's made. Staropramen probably isn't far off. ;)
