Title: Email Account Advice
Post by: Mr Skrunts on 27 January 2017, 13:56:04
I have tried to set up a new email accout on Yahoo and Live.com (Outlook.com) and both are wanting my mobile number for varification.

For privacy and personal reasons I am now fed up of giving mobile numbers to use and simply require an email address thats safe and doesnt demand personal information as such.

I fully understand why they do it for verification but I just dont want to share that information anymore.

Any suggestions for a suitable account. :y

Try Mail.com Ive had a few accounts with them for over 20 years, no issues at all, does what it says on the tin.  ;)

You can chose your extension ie @email.com, @mail.com, @europe.com, loads of them, if its available.

Dont bother goring Premium, they say you need to if you want to use a Email App, you dont need to, the free one will let you set an imap, pop3 account using external Apps, I use Thunderbird on PC and MS Mail on the Mobile.

Bonus side is your not tied to a Internet Provider.  :y
