Title: Veccy C 3.2 timing belt interval?
Post by: citroenguy on 06 March 2017, 06:58:06
Is it the same 40k/4yr interval on the Vectra with the Z32SE as with the Omegas ?
Are the pulleys and design any different?

Its the same design for timing.

From around 2003 on the Z32 Veccy, they decided to go back to the original 80k, 8 years, same as the Sigma thingy or what ever its called.

Bottom line is you pays your money and takes your choice as to whether you would feel comfortable leaving it that long when its pretty much the same kit on the Omegas that are recommended at 40k, 4 years.

For any V6 car that age, its pretty much game over if the Belts or Tensioner gives up.

Most of the Members on here are really strict about the 40K/4yrs period and hence we hardy ever see Posts on OOF about 'My Cambelts just gone'
