Title: Police funds extended.
Post by: 2boxerdogs on 12 March 2017, 09:04:05
Just read that the Police have been granted a further £85,000 regarding the Madeline McCaan case, don't think that will go very far, apparently £11.1 million has been spent on this case to date.

Much as I sympathise with their loss, despite their obvious negligence, I don't agree with this. I strongly suspect that anyone who doesn't hold their respectable positions in society - with the contacts and knowhow of the system that brings, their case would have disappeared off the radar a long time ago.

Yep. No one cares about the ugly kids who go missing every day.  :(

Good job I wasn't abducted when I was a kid then. ;)

Perhaps I was simply too ugly to be 'snatched away' ;)

Although IMO the parents were negligent,I'm sure that they are filled with regrets, guilt and sadness and it is quite right that societies never stop pursuing and bringing to justice the bad actor(s) that perpetuated this awful crime and any other unsolved ones against children.

Yes, but how much in total has been dedicated to all the kids who have disappeared during this period, and what percentage of that is the £11 million (so far) which has gone to the McCann case ?
I'm willing to bet its way above the average. Which is why its unfair.  ;)
