Post by: brcinema on 26 March 2017, 11:11:11
Then they are ok.

Battery and alternator tested out ok, mind you, this was after warm up.

Anyone come across this as I have searched?

Thanks.

72000 miles.

SAI fan partially seized and drawing excessive current? (assuming that a 4 pot actually has one of course ::))

Andy might be right.
I didn't about this and there has been a weird noise from front left before this happened.
I'll av to look for seized fan then.

Its the voltage control on the Headlight ECU Control Unit, I changed the one i had and it stopped, was going to change the capacitors and a few diodes inside before replacing it but all the board is covered in electrode sealer.

Only Xenon fitted Omegas have a headlight ecu, being a CD, this car should have halogen lights and no ecu :y

I would be looking at the condition of the battery earth cable where it attaches to the body   ;)
