Title: First Glimpse at my new Omega...
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 03 August 2008, 15:37:51
I won this with an ebay last minute snipe this morning... looks like a tidy car, and I can't really go wrong for what I paid.

It's fully spec'd, including black leather, colour satnav, BOSE, pretty much the works - 3.0 Auto. I wanted a 3.2 but this is close enough.

Full MOT, Tax till end Jan 2009.

I'll post up some better pics when I collect her and do a proper post in the gallery - Wednesday.

This isn't really a project, it's a working car with full MOT, although I will do a cambelt kit change, and oil change so I can sleep at night.

Kevin

I'm pretty sure it's Kingston.

I may call in for a cuppa if it's somewhere near on the way... but ultimately, the cambelt is an easy job, so I may save the offer of assitance for when I drop the LPG into the engine bay  ::) ;D

I note in the pics it has a slot for a CD inside the car - is there also a changer in the boot?

No, as it looks like an NCDC2013/5 in picture, so it has a single slot that can do audio OR have satnav disk, and a 4 disk changer in the bottom half.

The 4 disk changer is the same as the one fitted to other facelifts, like the ccr2006 in your old facelift, and isn't the most reliable device made.  Also, the designer was having an off day, as you can't eject the magazine in Park ;D

Nice buy James  :y

Mines only a 4 pot and a little underpowered but the room in the back is vast. Ideal for all the tools  :)

At a guess he'll probably need to get the bakerloo from paddington to waterloo- must've spent half my life on the bleedin things  ;D

Nice car, guy a few doors up has a facelift elite estate- me well jealous. Must be great for the ole booze cruises!
