I am very grateful to Albs for replacing my crank sensor this morning. He was pushed for time, but kindly fitted me in on his way as it was "only a 5-minute job" - we all know what that means! Anyway, after about an hour, due to struggling with the sensor bolt, it fired up right away with a jump start.
I do apologise for that bolt, it ain't my fault as I've never touched it, ever - my belly disqualifies me from undercar work!
Sorry it took so much of your precious time, Albs. :y

Not a problem at all Ron. Happy to help. Ive changed quite a few crank sensors in the past and never struggled to get the bolt out before.
Strangely, the only thing that seemed to fit tight enough to undo it was a little imperial socket. Which is bizarre.
Once that problem was overcome, it became the 10 minute job it should have been. :)
Nice to see the old girl up and running again. :y

Ive had a couple where some idiot has decided to glue the bolt back in. ::)

Albs, I was more concerned about my blind neighbour who has no other way of getting to the hospital where his wife is very unwell, so it's great to be mobile again - he thanks you, and a big WOOF from his guide dog too! :y :y :y
