Looks quite nice I think. And probably a fair price for what it is ? Located in Norn Irn. Where else would it be located ? ::) ;D

I wonder what Aviva would think of that one. "Vauxhall omega you say, sir. Any modifications from standard?" :)
-
And are the brakes uprated too?
Just how would you manage to insure it on a serious note? Maybe it is easier and cheaper than I imagine.

"Not really, no. Its just a 4 cylinder Omega". :D

there are several specialist insurers who would consider such a car to be mild!

Bah... It's only got half an engine... ::)
Clearly the price reflects this ;D

Interesting they chose a Saab engine to get the job done. Judging by some of the cars over on Uksaabs, 430bhp isn't overly close to the limit of that lump.

A member in hoof'land is looking/has/in-progress doing the same,. :o

Still only half a job ::)
As our American cousins say... There ain't no replacement for displacement ;)

Yes, you are correct... but shoehorning an ls1 or ls2 isn't. Worth while, Saab turbo is straight swap and more common in euroland than ls1 v8. Also adding extra cooling for the saab is easier than ls1. Yes I know some have put v8 in, most have cooling troubles, which is 1 reason GM scuttled the v8 omega.
-
Then they done it wrong... ::)
Fitting a four pot turbo is fine as a budget alternative, but it simply isn't in the same league ;)
-
That's not to say that I don't like the idea of a four pot turbo sleeper, but having driven the alternative, I know which I would rather have on the drive ;)

Yep, me too, on both counts. :y

Certainly put a smile on my face. I think it was the soundtrack. Oh, and the effortless power, and the great manual box. Mostly the soundtrack. 8)

Don't forget the soundtrack... :D All things considered, it's a very well rounded package 8)
