Sorry, lad, but I found that post a tad abrasive. :D

You can't trust those OOF swear filters, Sh now changed to Gr. ::) :o ;D

As kids we used Izal. It came in single sheets and was useless for the required purpose.
-
I remember my parents talking about that once. Was that the stuff that was a bit like baking paper? ???
-
Exactly like baking paper, only rough ;)

Whenever we needed tracing paper at school we got sent off to the khahzee for some Izal. :D
It was tap all use for anything else. ;D

Important Royal court job m'lud being the official servant that wiped the King's/Queen's harris after they had been. You can't be as rich as you let on if you can't afford a servant dedicated to such an important task, using the finest oriental lotions, cotton and silk cloth for that fashionable polished look popular amongst the landed nobility. ::) ::) ::)
Indeed there is a retired Scoucer on this very website, who has all the relevant qualifications and experience for this job. It is your 'lucky' day as I have heard from a very reliable source that he will do such rewarding work for 'next to nothing'. ::) ::) ::)

Yep...made excellent tracing and greaseproof paper. Exactly 'not' what you need to wipe away runny stools. :(

Being retired would assume a job of some sort previously. Are you sure this chap is a proper scouser? ::) ::) ::) ::) ;) :P

If you're referring to me, it's not my fault I haven't worked for forty years. I am a hanger of child murderers by trade, and there doesn't seem to be many openings at the moment.
-
And I do wish that druggie Rods would explain what a scoucer is :-\

Izal is still in use in Greece, well it was in Crete airport last I returned home from there with a dose of the Trots :o :o :o :'( :'(

Izal and a dose of the shits is not a desirable combination. :(

Arse like the top of a ketchup bottle. ;D

He used to talk about such experience continuously with a former member whose name was iirc something like 'Fixer'. I'm not sure it was a real job though, it sounded more like an obsession. ::) ::) ::) :P

Sat on a Greek Cypriot potty as we speak, and can confirm proper bog roll here.
My biggest worry is it's strength, and if I'll poke my finger through....
