quickest way to get a thermostat link pipe v6 need one asap located liverpool
might aswell fit new thermostat housing while there if can get one too

Thermostats can be got from motor factors or main stealer.Transfer pipe is I think stealer only and should come with two rubber "O" rings which you'll need.

Just a point to mention.The flanges on some thermostat housings are thinner than the original,this is no big problem in itself.However if you have a "thin flange"type but irginal bolts these can "bottom out" while not holding the housing down tightly.So check new housing against the one you remove if it's thinner then a]get shorter bolts b]cut down the bolts you have or c]place washers below bolt heads to make up the difference.Hope that makes sense to you.

I just replaced original thermostat housing with a first line one and flanges exactly same thickness so no need to apply washers or shorten thread on bolt

baza i got a thermo from GM and your spot on flange was thinner so after advice on here i duly cut the bolts down :y

hmm didnt buy from gm as even with trade club was nearly 50 quid for housing .. bought first line housing came with a standard stat for 32 quid, but mine was same thickness as original gm part of car
