I am guessing a god version so that you yourself can eliminate stuff driving you mad.

Someone will be along to tell us what it really is!

TBH, if your not sure what it is, then dont install the pre release version before its ready, its still buggy.

It will rolled out as a regular update, when its ready to be released, probably in different regions.  ;)

In a word its a Win10 enhancement update  :-\

And when it auto updates, it will render most mobiles use less. Yet again.
wish micro-daft would realise a phone is not a tablet. >:(

Micro-daft have released a few updates that have been for pc, that have gone to mobile platforms, and taken weeks to realise they've got it wrong. Millennium update being the noticeable one.

Sounds like a fairly major cockup to make!

MS have really lost the plot on the Mobile market, think Nokia would have probably reworded that statement,  ::)

Ok, so what is it ?
With Windows 10, every few months (at least once a year), MS intend to do a major update for additional functionality and features. "Creators Updates" is the 3rd one of these since Windows 10 was released.

Its more demanding on hardware than the previous, 2nd, update, 1607 (aka Anniversary Edition), so isn't automatically being offered to everyone straight away, in an effort to avoid the SNAFU like last time.  Its initially offered to those machines MS believe are better equipped to run it in the first instance (these people should have had Creators Update several weeks ago), and is slowly being phased at lesser capable machines.

My computer struggles as it is :-[

Are you able to choose whats downloaded and installed?

Couldn't see a simple option of " let me decide" like earlier windows?

Conspiracy !

Keep putting demands on computers so we need new ones.

Same one the government uses. Ensure to council don't fix the roads so our cars wear out ::)

(my old xp not connected to the net works just fine)

And it has to be said, I run Windows 10 Creators on this laptop I'm using right now (10yrs old), and on my desktop (also 10yrs old) with no issues.
