Not the best description in the title, but what I'm looking for is a large tray to drain the radiator into without going to a garden centre.
I don't want a cheapo bowl from poundland, because if they have the capacity, they are too tall to go under the Omegaand I'm on the front lawn, so can't really lift the car, nor do I want to do it in the road.
I know it's a trivial question, but despite that I know I will (usually) get a sensible answer! :y

Just go to halfrauds and get an 8lt oil pan
failing that machine mart is another
EDIT:
Just a thought
Stick a hose on the drain and let gavity do its thing (after you syphon it)

I found this:-

But it still seems a bit tall and is only 5 litres - and dearer than Poundland!

Thats the one I have, it slides under no problem
Its plenty big, if you dont manage spill any then its to small

I use a washing up bowl... you need to jack the nsf corner slightly anyway to get at the drain screw ;)
-
I just cut the side out of an old 5l oil container. Does get quite full though. :D Just have to move it carefully.

Thanks for all of your pension-saving suggestions, gents!
Whilst I'm at it, I have it in mind to do a good flush and I recall a thread on here regarding dish washer tablets/fluid? Can you refresh my fading memory and tell me which were the recommended products, please?
Oh, I've never had to drain the radiator before, so I'm not sure where the drain cock is.....?

It's on the nearside Ron and as Dr G says you have to jack up the N/S front slightly to access it, so a washing up bowl will do the job. :y
Cut a short length of hosepipe to direct the flow from the draincock into your bowl, otherwise you'll have coolant pishing all over the place. ;)

I expect the flush to be like the heater matrix, where you force water the oposite way to rid any deposits,
so may be affix the hose to the drain cock and wack the garden tap on full with the top hose off and the bottom hose kinked, so no junk can find its way into the block

Once again, perfect advice - thanks gents!
Talking of pi**ing , that's exactly what the weather is doing right now - the best-laid plans..... >:(
