Afternoon guys, have a bit of a cambelt/timing issue.
banks 3 and 4 timing marks line up ok
bank 1 is out by one sprocket tooth (before mark) bank 2 timing marks line up . So bank 1 has slipped. >:(

What do I need to do to correct the issue?
(was doing so well, as well) :(

Easiest is to rotate the crank until the cams are 30 degrees before the marks and crank 60 degrees before TDC, pop the belt off and then rotate the cams to the base marks on the back plate and fit the cam locks.
Bring crank to TDC and refit the belt as before.
Alternatively cam lock in 3-4 and pop the belt off, wind the crank back to 60 degrees before TDC and then set the cam timing to the back plate marks on 1-2 before fitting the cam lock.
Bring crank to TDC and refit the belt as before

Thanks for the reply.
Will the cam move easily or would another pair of hands be useful?

tried first method, managed to move cam round but don't think i have done it correctly as now I can't rotate the crank back to TDC only goes so far but won't quite lock on water pump :'(
No idea how to fix this now >:( >:( >:(

Crank is at 60 degrees before TDC? (alignment notch at around 4.00)?

Sorry couldn't reply sooner Fuse 19, I've been busy. Finally managed to get the cam in the correct position, screw'd everything back together, and Hey Presto! she is running again (really pleased, I hadn't killed her).
Shall have to be more careful next time. Thanks for your help and advice, it's good to know how to correct these little mishaps.
