Blimey. I didn't need to Google. Didn't see that coming.

What happens in your life to make you hang yourself ?

Very sad! Hybrid Theory defined my GCSE year at school.

Terrible that he felt that was the only option left to him.  :'(

Yep, very sad. Hung himself on the birthday of his (late, also suicide) friend Chris Cornell, leaving six kids and a wife behind.

I'm sure anyone with kids will know (I don't have, so) you must be in a very, very bad place to feel leaving your kids behind is the only option.

Well yes, absolutely.

During my life I've had major downs, but I've never even remotely considered ending it. So what happens with these guys? I very much doubt that it's money. Some kind of drug or alcohol psychosis ? Even if it's an inability to deal with fame and fortune, it's still possible to walk away from it. We'll never know.

From what I have read he was abused as a child which probably led to his drug and alcohol problems and eventually his suicide  :'(

I couldn`t even comprehend the mental torment he must have suffered throughout his life for this to be his relief  :-\
