Some heavy rain but no thunder or lightening yet, wish it would and clear the air. :)

Been in the garden for the last hour watching the lighting,seems to be Gatwick way,has now started tipping it down and am beginning to get the thunder.

Shows a hour's worth of lightning strikes so you can see it coming.

Posted it a few days ago, but worth a repost for you if you can see some lightning off in the distance...

i love thunderstorms, the power they have is truly amazing, i could sit outside and watch them for hours

When I lived in worthing I used to sit on the seafront at night and watch the strikes bounce off the sea -- absolutely amazing

Start the storm chasing

Could get the kite out connect to the meter if  I get a strike get some cash for supping the grid with green energy  ;D

Just driven home from Gatwick area and it is raining on and off,but the sky keeps lighting up blue/grey but no thunder,yet !

Well according to that radar I should be seeing lightening  ::)

Nothing yet, muggy and 24 degrees, as still as anything, not a breath of air  :)

Oh yeh got them alright......driving me mad earlier when I was under the car trying to sort the Xenon levelling out  ;)

It's just started raining and I can now hear rumbling in the distance.......crikey that one just vibrated the conservatory  :o

I spoke too soon.Just been out to pick my youngest daughter up from friends and the rain has arrived.Still lots of lighteneing and a bit of thunder but raining really hard.

Yeh strange, seems to be a lot of lightening without the thunder following

Just been up on Butser hill watching the action from 70 miles away (Mrs. KW goes a bit nuts whenever there are thunderstorms)  ::). There were some huge clouds just lighting up from within. Very impressive.
