Title: eclipse of the sun

its so dark today here in York anybody would think there is a sun eclipse . forecast was sun  ???

It's strange how the moon fits exactly over the sun.

Not too small and not too big. Goldilocks perfect.

Pure chance during evolution or the work of a 'creator'? :)

Well its getting further away so at some point it covered it easily and as the years pass it wont cover it fully......we have just chanced on the time period where its 'about' right  :y

.. and if the moon is flat like the earth is, it's a good job it's not edge-on or we'd never know it was there.  ::)

Well, there'd be a thin line, I suppose.. like an eclipse of the moon:
