My brother had one of these, sounded lovely. He painted it red and put a Starsky and Hutch stripe down both sides. I know it sounds awful but it actually looked quite cool.

On the spotted old VX theme, I saw a beautiful silver Firenza* in Acklam the other day. I slowed down and told the driver it was stunning... he pointed out that it might look stunning, but at the time it was broken down... Sadly I wasn't in a position to help, being at work at the time.

Reminds me of when i was working in engineering and we had the local MP, (thick as sh*t), make a visit. He remarked that a pallet of beautifully machined components looked absolutely wonderful. Trouble was that someone had machined them to the wrong dimensions and were all scrap. A classic case of not everything is what it seems. :-[

There's a bloke round here who has two 3.3 estates. It was Murray Walker[yes that one]who had something to do with marketing for Vauxhall at the time who suggested it should be called Ventura, however after a couple of objections to this it was altered to Ventora.
