Title: Public transport
Post by: TheBoy on 26 October 2017, 09:37:43
Is pointless.

Another day, and again the slug is chugging along at 35mph.

Car is so much less hassle, even taking into account the average modern tree hugging child on board shitbox drivers. Esp Nissan drivers

Its never going to be the same as a Door to Door comfort journey in your own vehicle, the only exception these days are possible trips into London, assuming you dont have to carry Tools, Bits, Parts for a Job.

Which reminds me, a couple of years back into London I got pulled in by Plod to participate in a Censors, The Young Lady (TfL) was keen to ask the questions like, Where you from, Where you going, How long for, and why you not using London Transport for your journey today, I replied "look on the Roof, Ive got 2 sets of Ladders, sets of Steps, Boot full of Cables, Tools, H&S, other Equipment, Blah, Blah.... How am I going to get all this on the Tube and Buses", to which she replied, so in that case if the Public Transport was improved, would you re consider your Car journey today. I then just looked at the Policeman who was standing next to her and said, "Can I Go now?"   ::)

Fortunately the tools I'm lugging today are only hand tools. The parts are quite weighty due to number of hard drives. Works insurance would have a field day if the bag with the parts went walkies, as just shy of £30k of memory and drives in there

Londons public transport system would probably be quite good if the population of the city was about half of its present level.  :-X

Of course, when I'm President, when a 3rd child is born, the entire family goes on the cull list.

If only work would pay for one. As beyond driving myself, taxi would be my preferred option.

That sounds as though he could have saved 9 of those minutes by letting her on! :-\

I think she was allowed on in the end (I couldn't see that far down), so her childish actions actually paid off for her.  But she committed an offence, and should be shot.

If the stupid cow couldn't be arsed to get up 5 minutes earlier, and believes its her god given right to expect everyone to have to wait for her, she deserves to be terminated.  I mean, the next train was only a few minutes behind...  ...in fact probably stuck at a red 2 or 3 miles back due to the antics of this silly bint.

To me, it shows the arrogance of what the UK population has become.
