.......I gave away 470 ml of my 'lifeforce' yesterday. I quite enjoyed it. :)
No 'fainters' for entertainment this time though. :-\
-
I'm told there is a shortage of blood donors from our 'coloured cousins' in relation to their number. :)
-
I used to give blood, but I've had too many diseases now and they don't want it. :-\

I'll let all the local 'Darsett' girls know.......although some of them may be the cause. ;)

There was a chap in the news recently who had caught a super strain of the clap while messing about in SE Asia! Apparently normal antibiotics won't touch it! :o
What a souvenir! ::)

I don't think it's your knob that suffers, more your organs, heart, liver, blood, etc, that get full of infection. Not pleasant.
Plus the indignity of lots of student doctors fiddling with you. ;D

:( I had a blood transfusion about 12 years ago and because of that I can't give blood or donate organs due to the risk of passing on CJD :(

The pretty nurse explained to me that scousers were not allowed to donate due excessive alcohol and cocaine levels in the blood. ::)
.......the same goes for men who take it up the arse.....but for different reasons. :)

There are a number of reasons why people can't donate.
Upcoming operation
Recent operation
An assortment of prescription medication.
A recent tattoo
Arse sex. Man to man.
Weight less than 7st 12 lb
Recent trips to 'the dark continent'
....and many others.

They only take 470 ml.......about the same amount you'd lose if you were shot. ;D

That's because they have to give it,without payment. O and religious beliefs, but when they get knifed, funny how belief goes out the window.
I can't donate due to medication for illness, ever, but they take enough for research, when ever I visit addenbrookes,.

The government takes most of mine.....
