Post by: Big Fra on 14 August 2008, 01:08:56
Early hours in the morning, oof on the laptop, and a rather special scotch on the rocks in my hand.

1988 Dalwhinnie Special Reserve Distillers Edition.
Double Matured Single Highland Malt.

It's not too bad, a bit too light and bland for my particular palate.
Johnnie Black on the rocks is the one for me.

I also have another Distillers addition.

1989 Glenkinchie (the edingurgh malt)
Double matured single lowland malt

(Yes I can read the label) :D

Not tried this one yet.

In October I am gonna treat myself and get me a Large bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label. Possibly the best whisky I have ever, and probably will ever, taste.

Very pricey though.

Luckily I can get it for £100.
