Title: How to remove ashtray Omega 2001

Hell all

My ashtray stays open.

but how to get that far, how to remove the ashtray. I see two Philips screws inside. Should I open them?

Actually I did not explain properly what happened - I could not close the ashtray at all. In old site I found what I needed. Exactly the same happened to me. Only center screw have to be removed not the left and right one. I took the broken small plastic thing away which prevented the tray to close totally and now it works - see link. Only problem is that the cigarette lighter plug is a bit loose. Have to support it with another hand when pushing e.g. charger to it.

i seen that one, seems like vauxhalls "top of the range" plastic has given way!
