Yup  :y

What did you have done?

Think if I got an XF/XJ I'd seriously consider driving to his for servicing needs. (that's if he works on them)  ;D

Because the small jag parts will be soo much cheaper ;D

A pair of Genuine Zafira wishbones fitted won't give you much change from £400 ;D

A friend of mine just had to put his XF in for an "oil dilution service" - i.e. the regen cycles (and he does a commute similar to yours, daily) have watered the oil down with diesel... that puts me off! ;D

When I got mine, the front arms were shot. TOPix says you can only change the bushes once/twice (would need to double check)  before you have to replace the arms. So Gixer and I poly'd them :y.  They were a basted to press in, mind ;D.  I think the polys for that were about £120, but I could be wrong - they were 3 part polys, a larger black part pressed into arm, and then the usual 2 purple bits pushed into that, with the metal tube.

Thats my plan as bushes fail, replace with poly.  Powerflex do nearly the entire set.

Serek would have got the job to do my wheel bearing had I felt the bearing could have driven that far.  As I wasn't confident it would (massive play, scored the disc on the brake calliper mounting bracket, which itself was limiting the play on it) :y
