After months of searching I have found a set of genuine Mercedes staggered AMG Monoblock alloys which are the perfect ones for my Merc, will need a refurb but will look so much better than the standard elegance alloys.Viewing them Saturday hope to strike a good deal.

Refurb is about £60 a wheel, I think. :y

Yes think your about right got a good one local to me , they did the wheels on my 190e a few years back looked like new when they finished.

It will look a proper beast with AMG monoblocks on. 8) :y

Saw one tonight in Rugby W210 E55 AMG away on a course at the moment cannot believe how much difference it makes to the car really looks "purposeful" !!

If you fancy the trek i can recommend a place in N E Lincs that did me four alloys, plus centrecaps for £180 (15" rims). Top job, very quick turn around too.

That's as much the body kit and suspension... Both are subtle enough to not be shout, yet purposeful enough to show intent. The wheels just ice the cake.
Nice choice nonetheless. 8) Would love a W140 with a set on :y

That's what I would expect to pay for a chemical strip and repaint in one colour. It doesn't include damage repairs like welding scuffs or missing chunks, straightening(which isn't always possible), two colour paint or diamond cutting.

I paid £46 3 or 4 years ago to strip, straighten (a very, very bad distortion due to massive pothole damage) and repaint an 18" Sportstar. It was slightly cheaper (per wheel) a couple of years earlier when I had all 4 done, and all 4 needed the flatspots rolled out.
So, I'd suggest £60 for a (non split) repair and full strip/refurb is about the right figure now without shopping around too much.

The supercharged AMG E55 is a great car.

They are nice Opti but after reading owners reports in the MB owners mag I would stick with the naturally aspirated version fast enough for me & I would never find another in this condition, will change for an SL in a few years .My retirement present to myself.😎

Just heard from the seller that they've been sold subject to collection ! Got to start looking again.

At some point I would like to replace my Omega Estate with the Estate version of this. 8) 8) 8)

Loads, relatively speaking, for sale in Germany... At a price...
Typically £1,600 with tyres... :o
That said, there's a few sets on ebay, just watch the offsets as not all Mercedes are equal ;)
