Right, off to see the new Batman film.
Anyone here seen it already?
-
Ljay has, wasn't impressed, too long and boring
-
Have they made annother one. . . . sigh!
-
Not a movie watcher myself, hav'nt seen any of the Batmans but heard this one is more sinister.
-
I allways wait untill they come on TV. Not been to the pictures since I was a kid.
Either saw the Battle of Brittain or Chitty Chitty Ban Bang when it came out. :-/

Last film I saw at flicks was Mamma Mia!, bloody chick flick. Before that, Hancock - I enjoyed that, and Charlize Theron looked fit as ::). Before that was Iron Man, enjoyed that, but I've always had a thing for Miss Paltrow ::)

I saw Batman on preview a bit back! Wasn't too impressed to be honest, think i nodded off in the middle! Just when you thought it was going to end they threw in another twist....terribly sorry old boy, I am a little tired!
Can see that it is a good film if you're a Batman fan! I'm not i was paid to be there!!! ;D ;D ;D
Mamma Mia on the other hand is the best film i have seen in ages, so good i've been twice!! Enjoyed Hancock too TB!
I go to the pictures most weeks, so get to see the good and bad! :y

Is that what you kids are calling it these days?
Anywho.
Just back in, I really enjoyed that film.
I would have to say it would be a close call between the first and last one for my fave.
It is much more believable and realistic.
It truly is a tragedy regarding Heath Ledger, however he will forever be remembered for his final role, which he played with all his soul, unfortunatley to his cost.
It truely was his greatest performance.

Got to agree with you about Heath Ledger! A tragic loss! :'(

Chick flick though. I was bored, may possibly have lost a few minutes resting my eyes. Mrs TheBoy really enjoyed it - hardly surprising, Brosnan and the prat who played Darcy if her all time favourite drama, and ABBA
Not my scene, but did quite enjoy the stage show when we saw it a few years ago....

yeah seen the batman film, not as good as batman returns, and the hype was never going to do it any favours (heath ledger is good, but i'm not convinced that it's an 'oscar winning' performance).
it was too long, and it did feel like they had tried to include too much in one go (the joker has obviously been depicted before so i guess they needed something else, but the harvey dent story was almost summarised), but hey what do i know, its the biggest film ever or something.
its no citizen kane though heheehe

See this a few weeks back when in Philippines and must say i was impressed...lots of twists and turns and certainly a film you need too concentrate while watching, possibly explains why the wife didn't like as you was confused (typical woman then).
Finally made a couple of decent batman films now (this and previous)...looking forward too the next. :y

I thought Hancock was pants, and Legend :-?
although I do like Will Smith... thought I Robot was far better :y
