He got some height into that didn't he? :o Very lucky to come out of it with only the injuries he suffered.

I saw a retired gentleman do that in a Saab 9000 about a year ago. Low flying across the roundabout, missing a substantial oak tree by a hair's breadth, landed on the opposite side of the roundabout and eventually came to rest about 100m up the central reservation past the roundabout. :o
He was Ok but a bit confused. Medical opinion at the scene was that he might have blacked out on approach to the roundabout.
This clearly guy didn't black out, though. I think he was suffering from "behaving like a tool". ::)

Alternative view, and an informed one since my Mum comes from there.... NFN ;D

In their very limited defence, that roundabout breaks of a stretch of dual carriageway which starts at Thetford and finishes at the A47. It could be that they swerved to avoid the van not realising just how close to the roundabout they were.
Obviously travelling far too fast for that point in the road, so has a certain inevitability...
I would be slightly more concerned that there were three people in one of those :-\

One of the Kent crash investigators used to call that driving like a Lady bits, which is much more accurate.
