Title: Windscreen washer sensor
Post by: atann on 19 September 2018, 21:42:21
Pulled out the sensor on the back of the washer tank, too drain all the old screen wash out. Refilled to max, now getting low washer fluid warning on dash?

Can't suggest much else without seeing how it is currently fitted...

I can only think that that the float has come off.
If it was upside down, then the sensor would never 'see' an empty bottle, is the float was missing, then it'll never close the magnetic switch.

Unplugged the sensor & rotated it 180 degrees. Still same issue. The tank is definitely 100% full. Any other ideas?

New sensor... Presuming that it is correctly plugged in...
