hi everyone quick question can i jump start car y26se cdx with faulty starter ie just clicking not turning over.battery charged ok.thanks
-
What do you mean by jump start attached your car to another cars battery or pushing the car and then engaging clutch.Do you have a manual or auto?
-
Clicking suggests a flat battery :-\
Jump leads from a n other car + to +/- to - and try again...
If still no joy, give the starter a tap with a block of wood and try again ;)
Report back...

sorry guys.meant bump start have already tried 2 sets of jump leads on 2 different cars.stuck at work at moment.full beam + fans work ok just clicks when key turned.can i attempt a bump start to maybe get me home?.thanks.

If it's automatic you're out of luck. You can't bump start them.
I'd check the crimped terminals on the battery are secure and not getting hot. These can often work loose.
Also try wiggling the automatic gearbox selector lever while cranking or starting it in "N", as the switch can sometimes deteriorate. V6 Starter motors are normally very reliable.

its a manual sorry.would i be ok to try with a few bodies pushing?
-
It might bump start, but they really don't like it...
Expect flooding...

Yep, see if they can get a bit of momentum up then lift the clutch in 3rd gear and see if it starts.
