Title: I changed my steering idler arm today!
Post by: Taxi_Driver on 20 August 2008, 19:13:45
Actually thats a lie  ;D ......i got charged a tenner by my local garage to change it  :y

Would have probably taken me hours, they did it in 15mins  :y

But blimey..what a difference!  :o

It feels so much 'tighter' now......no more 'extra' noises when going over bumps......no slight twitches to the left when braking.

Its suprising that when a component like this starts to slowly degrade over a period of time you dont really notice any major difference......but boy! you do you notice big time when the component has been changed  :y :)

What he didn't tell you is that he had the meter running for that 15 minutes, the actual cost was 35 quid but, he took 20 quid off them to cover the fare!
