Title: Mondeo A/C Pulley

The A/C compressor pulley on my Mondeo 2.2 TDCi rattles.  :(

It seems that different engines across the Mk4 Mondeo range have different compressors, but I was wondering if the pulley is the same.  :-\

It will save a lot of expense if I can just change the pulley (and maybe the clutch assembly), as I won't have to get the gas sucked out and refilled after, which will be the case if I change the compressor.  ;)

Anyone know?  ???  ::)

there is about 4 different types .
would say have look on mondeo owners gorup you can pick cheap compressor for few £££

There's a good old fashioned scrappy near here where you can wander about and remove the parts yourself, so I might go there and have a gander.  :)

You can buy a complete aircon pulley, clutch, bearing and coil kit for most aircon compressors for around 40-50 quid new
