I mentioned to him yesterday that I could do with a couple of small parts from the Omega he was scrapping. About an hour ago he dropped them off to me, without even knocking the door so I could at least offer him a cuppa as payment.
A very kind gesture, and proof the spirit of OOF is alive and well.

I know, but I surprise myself with the insignificant trivia I can remember from years ago, but cant remember what day of the week it is.
I still haven't forgotten lying in a puddle in that pub car park trying to undo the oil cooler pipes on one of your Omegas.
I still carry the emotional scars.  :o ;D ;D
