F**king disgusting, Chris. The way things are going, we're going to need our armed forces to control the streets. People are not going to put up with this shit for much longer.

Farage warned of this during his tv debates with Clegg. Clegg said it was complete nonsense and that he was just scaremongering.
The fact that May has signed us up to it, after the vote to leave the EU, and then almost managed to keep it under the radar is pretty sinister imo.
The British armed forces will end up under the control of the Germans eventually, as they effectively run the EU with help from the French.
Makes you wonder what the point was of all those poor souls laying down their lives during WW2.

Just do the maths.

Those that didn't vote don't care otherwise they would vote.

Of those that vote 50% do not see anything wrong with the EU.

Of the remaining 50% at least a half haven't a clue what is going on.

That leaves a small band of folk who do see and know where we are headed. They ( us?) are branded little Britains, dim wits, poorly educated etc and so are marginalised.

Roll-on the peoples vote and a return to normailty. Oh and no shortages . :y

People's vote or not, the won't be any shortages.

As for the 'people's' vote, we had the referendum* and the next vote should rightly be a general election.

* The result of which needs accepting, if only to uphold any shread of democracy we may have left. Regardless of which way anyone did or didn't vote.

I have to say that even though I am not generally a conspiracy theorist, this stinks, especially as I have seen nothing in the media about it. >:( >:( >:(

You seem the type that wouldn't be shy about quizzing your MP, so go to one of his surgeries and do it. After all, you're an old duffer with nowt better to do.  ;D

She is an utter waste of space. I gave up and walked out of the last 'surgery' meeting I had with her on a defence matter, on which she claimed some knowledge, but demonstrated that she had not got a clue. Fortunately, after years of failing in various junior posts, and being a transport minister, she is standing down, thank God. She has never satisfactorily answered any of my letters on any issue. She has merely been a greasy pole climber, and fortunately slipped down every time she tried. >:( >:( >:(
Other than that she has been a good MP. :-X

OK, take the direct approach. Stand outside her office with a placard, it's what folk do these days.

Or.....hope that Boris does the business.

Boris may well do.

Plenty of talk about a deal.

Imo his chances of getting any kind of acceptable deal are now slim, since Parliament tied his hands behind his back. The EU don't have many reasons to give him a deal now.
Has anyone seen Verhofstadts speech to the Libdem conference yesterday ? He bangs on about how the EU needs to become an Empire (as if it isn't one already) to rapturous applause from the retarded delegates.

He should remember the Roman Empire, that didn't end well.  :y

Nor has any other empire in the long term. I believe the EU one will collapse within my (expected) lifetime.

Don't be so sure about no shortages , the French are just waiting to F**k us over , same as they aren't going to lift a finger to stop immigrants from trying to cross the channel , after all why should they spend time and effort defending a foreign countries border ?

If we think about this strategically, all Boris has to do is convince one member state to veto another extension. Game, shot and match.

Sounds far fetched, but who knows? >:(

Not at all PM Treason May has been behind our backs been signing away our armed forces, probably illegally with no parliamentary scrutiny, including our nuclear deterrent, so the oath of allegiance is to the EU not the queen, all our military assets belong to the EU and are under their command & 2 years conscription between the ages of 18 & 21 will apply. Much of this is already done & it's formalization as a treaty is in her dreadful WA whose intention is to make us cease to be a country and the EU empires first colony, so they can finish stealing all of our wealth, where getting JRL to move Land Rover production with subsidies to Slovakia is a typical example. If the WA is ever passed we will look up to Europe's poorest countries being rich compared to us. The EU also have the rights to command our police & border forces and deploy their police & armed forces in the UK to 'restore order'.

Likewise, all procurement will be through the EU with our defence budget to create military assets owned & controlled by the EU. The most onerous provisions are through PESCO which I have put a link to a slide show which describes it in more detail.

Like all hard left socialists not only does May hate her Tory 'nasty party' but the English as well where she has tried her best to destroy this country. This is the EU & remain punishment for us daring to vote & try to leave. I used to only dislike ultra-remainers, now I totally & utterly despise them where they are trying their best to destroy this great country, our great Sceptred Isle & like in all cold (& hopefully not hot) civil wars we all end up having to pick a side.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWQGlyiEztw (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWQGlyiEztw)

IMV this will finish NATO & with two expanding dictatorial empires having a common Russian-EU border with both vying to control Ukraine, Moldova & Serbia what could possibly go wrong for our conscripted children & grandchildren as they claim their 2m x 2m x 0.5m plot of mainland European turf? ::) :o :-[ :-X IMV we should be walking away from this and joining the US, Canada, Australia & NZ in a democratic Western nations defence alliance & let the EU get on with creating their authoritarian EUSSR empire & fighting alone any wars they are stupid enough to start.

Boris seemed to get on okay with Jean Claude Drunker, which is more than May did.

The way he is talking about leaving on 31st October with much confidence, I can only hope he has already done this.
