Texting/emailing Thomas Cook customers and trying to get their bank details by promising refunds.

Pretty much the perfect crime in today's society. No one is interested unless the losses hit a threshold where action fraud think about looking at it. And even then... :-X

My guess is that significant evidence will be given to the police about who is behind this. The police will then place this valuable evidence in the 'no further action required file'..... :-\

In truth the police have enough on their plate, so we can only expect a very small number of these con artists to get caught and prosecuted :'( :'(

I hear that Thomas Cook staff are also being targeted by these scum by offering to find jobs for them, at a price, when there is no intention of doing so! >:( >:(
