Title: Fracking
Post by: Sir Tigger KC on 02 November 2019, 18:22:09
Fracking in England has been suspended indefinitely by the government due to the inability to predict earthquakes.   :-\

So is this a good thing? Bad thing?  Or just a stunt to try and 'green wash' the Tories before the election?  Note it is not a permanent ban.  ;)

A political stunt akin to Donald stabbing the Kurds in the back. As a chap on the news said today 'We'll just burn the oil the yanks have fracked instead'

Temporary respite until the Tories get back in and look after their mates. Mind you Brexit party may take the steam out of the Tories.

When Swinson  gets in expect it to be permanent.

I fail to understand why they are concerned about Blackpool disappearing into the sea. Cant see the downside myself.

If Lancashire collapses into the centre of the earth, it may take a bit longer to get to the Lake District...

Can you be elected if you're not of voting age?

Besides, you couldn't possibly give credibility to someone whose second name is Tintin :-X
