Title: MOT pass for another year.
Post by: mantaray on 21 March 2020, 20:57:24
Well, what can I say, took the Omega in for its MOT this morning and to my surprise, it passed.  :D

Did get an advisory for both front tyres, which I was expecting, and a small bit of rust on the rear of the d/s sill. But when you consider that the car is 18 years old and never had any welding work, I think she has done quite well.

Only paid £200 for her 3 years ago and she has passed her MOT every year with no issues to talk about and now has over 150000 miles under her belt.

Don't think I have any grounds to complain.  :y

Bargain comfy motoring even factoring in mpg.

I converted her to LPG last year, so the mpg is not too bad. 90% of my driving is around town and I'm getting about 32 mpg, so not bad for an old bus.
