Title: V6 oil cooler
Post by: tango on 30 April 2020, 19:39:33
Hi all
Back here after a while
Trying to get some work done on my omega as we have time to in this pandemic
I’m going to replace the oil cooler in the v6
I know the grey stuff is recommended but as the dealers are closed
Any body used any other sealant or gasket paste that they can recommend
Thanks

Sorry can't help with links, but s a rough guide VX Black Sealent is for Rubber or Plastic to Metal, VX Grey is for Metal to Metal, both have Temperature Resistance.

So in the absence of VX Grey, you looking for Metal to Metal Sealent a with high Temp.
