Yesterday at about 8pm I had a course of injections, Tetanus, Hep B, and others.
My arm feels like I can hardly move it still, and I've felt really distant and vague since.
Is this normal and will wear off? It's so long since I was jabbed I can't remember.... :-/
-
Tetnus tends to do that...lasts a few days.
-
Hep B does as well -- you will likely have a dead arm for a while, and possibly feel a little "fluey".
I had my last course of "anti public" injections quite a while ago (talking a number of years) and have felt vague and distant ever since :D Could be early onset senility in my case tho :D :D

Anti Public Injections - what a great description.
I was the first one into the medical room, and I came out holding my backside and walking funny.... some of the other recruits faces were a picture ;D
-
They all leave you feeling pretty pump so together I am not suprised you are feeling like sh!te.
Before going to Kenya on a medical hearts and minds mission a couple of years ago I had Typhoid, Meningitis x+y (already had the a+c) + Hep B all on the same day. To tell you I was feeling like cr@p was an understatement. My temp was topping at 103 degrees and I could hardly move my neck! :D

last tetnus i had i barely felt... ....mind you, i had passed out about 3hrs earlier at work, and headbutted a table on the way down, so was feeling a bit dopey anyway...

Yep I have to have a booster in 4 weeks, I think another one in a few months after that - and then I'm good for 5 years, providing I don't come in contact with any sharps, etc...

All joking aside bloody good on ya for giving blood....my wife needed three pints (bags) after her cesarean went slightly not too plan, its people like you i"ll always be indebted too. :y :y :y :y

I am pretty cheesed off at no longer being able to give blood ----- at the last session I went to ( long time ago now) they discovered dangerously high BP and dobbed me in to the medics --- they won't let me give the stuff now :-[

I had a flu jab last year. Didn't agree with me at all. Made my brain go fuzzy (alright, fuzzier) and I had trouble driving the car. Since then I've picked up every bug going - and that's a lot - the wife's a teacher and she brings them home from school, I think.
Mind you, I haven't had flu...

You are already deaf - don't you mean death? ;D
xx :-*

I know it's corny but i'm terrified of needles, can't even look at a syringe. I can bear them if i have to have one, they don't actually hurt but i can't even watch someone else having a jab on telly, really freaks me. It's the moment the needle pierces the skin i can't handle it just does me up.
Silly as it seems when i was a kid @ school having the various jabs in the top of the left arm never bothered me. ::)

I hate jabs but I couldn't look like a wuss in front of 17 of my peers - so I just grinned and told the doc to stick me ;D
He was good, kept me talking while it went in, I didn't feel a lot at the time.
