I had a Bosch glass topped gas hob fitted last year. I have now had two replacement glass tops fitted due to cracks and scratches appearing within days of fitment. Bosch replaced them each time, but interestingly not under warranty but ‘goodwill’, suggesting that they don’t want to admit fault. They have inspected the latest one and have now refused to replace it again, blaming ‘misuse’.
We are not in the habit of trashing our household equipment, and clearly these hobs are not fit for purpose. I can’t be bothered to pursue this through Trading Standards or WHY, but I would like to post a negative review to warn others, as these hobs are marketed under various names. Apart from an Amazon review, where else is it worth posting?

Watchdog on the BBC? Presume it'll be back on at some stage. Also Trading Standards may be an option. :-\

I would contact trading standards, Chris. I don't know how easy that is under the current circumstances, but on the two occasions I have done it, it was no more than a phone call. If Bosch agree to changing it again, I would go for a different model, even if that meant paying extra. Good luck.

Don't bother with Trustpilot.
I wrote several negative reviews about the Wellesley after they lost me thousands due to their inept and incompetent management of my money.
The Wellesley complained and Trustpilot took down my reviews. :(
