I think 245BHP is a bit high for just a chip, i've read you get about a 10% increase from chipping.

Its quite a nice colour though ....

At the right price (£500 - £700?) that looks worth a punt Amigo. If the mileage is correct (just a bit concerned about the wear showing around the interior) it is reasonably low with everything outwardly appearing quite tidy. :y
If it was more local to me, and had more spare money, I think I could be tempted to bid. It would be ideal as a second 'fun' car. :y

Well Amigo I have often thought about having a fleet of Omega's (and Senator's if I could get good examples) but current resources don't allow!! ::) ::) ::) :D ;)
What would you choose to have in your collection though? Me, I think I would add a 1998 pre-facelift 3.0 Elite, a 2003 facelift 3.2 Elite, a 2003 3.2 MV6 to my current 2000 facelift 2.5 CDX, plus the Opel V8 (4.0 Elite??) Omega continental version that was highlighted the other day on the German web site. 8-) 8-) 8-) :y :y
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! What dreams! ::) ::) :y:D :D :D :D :D

He's not, mines been chipped, and i have a rolling road print out saying it has 247bhp, and it appeared in Total Vauxhall with that figure, but i've also had it rolling roaded at 199 and 228bhp, so make of it what you will :D

Ok Lizzie, here we go. I'd have a late mini facelift Elite 3.0 auto Est., My new Beastie of course, (manual) Tunnies Senny (with the wiring for a mobile lappy) loved that, Lotus Carlton (obviously) Mk3 'Tina, Herald 13/60 estate & a Duple Coach. Used to go to school on one. No PSV but think i could drive it privately on my HGV. :-/
Lastly a late white 3.2 facelift manual Estate to scare illegal motorists with! :-*

Great list Amigo! :y :y
My ex and I used to be shareholders in a railway society owned 1958, 52 seater, ex-Chiltern Queens, road coach :-* :-*. Fab to drive, which I did for over 300 miles 8-) 8-) :y. As it was registered as a "private motor vehicle" at the time (1980/1) we could drive it on a car licence. I think the law may have changed now (?) :-/
What Duple do you fancy? :-/

Something like this, mostly seemed to be Bedford or Commer iirc

That is very similar to the 1958 Duple Mike. :) Lovely! :-* :-* :-* :y

Looks smart..wonder what the reserve is though :-/

As you have discovered, rolling roads vary greatly in their accuracy, or lack thereof. Quite frankly, many just tell the punter the number he wants to hear so he goes away happy with a figure to brag about down the pub.
Unless the losses are properly calibrated out of the measurement with a coastdown on each run it's guesswork, and even then, it needs a good operator and a decent set of rollers to achieve consistent figures.
Personally, I doubt you could get anywhere near 245BHP out of an X30XE without internal modifications in addition to induction and exhaust work. It's certainly beyond what a simple chip change can achieve.
