Currently having a few issues with the board computer massively overcompensating with things like the range and instant mpg, managed to find the correct program code index number to get things working properly again but my Tech2 isn’t allowing me to reprogram anything. Current program code index number is 14 and the one I need to use is 52, any advice on how to get this changed?
It's German but You get the gist.

Is it a genuine Tech II or a certain USB / Laptop based (the device that cannot be named) Chinese clone? If the latter then don't bother trying to program with that.

101% Tech2 otherwise I would’ve mentioned the other type of connectivity :D

Erm.... 🙈
It’s a colour screen if that helps?

CID then ;D
What tyre size are you running?

235/45/17 👍🏼

Ok, factory standard :y over reading can be caused by smaller tyres, but this rules that out. Any codes in the ABS ecu? Again just to rule out a deeper issue ;)

I suspect the issue is the same one I had when retrofitting NCDC XXXX and CID. The unit and screen came from a different configuration of car (diesel in my case) so needs reconfiguring to 3.2 spec. Hence the request for code index info.

All sorted now, looks like I was trying to program the head unit and not the CID! Doh! 🤦🏼♂️
On to the next issue!

Isn't it CI 074 for a V6 Elite on a CID?

Yes 074 rings a bell.

3.0 auto with self levelling and 235/45/17 tyres?
