Always quite fancied a 2000E with the running gear swapped from the RS2000 4x4 Escort...

Went to a local tyre depot to put some tyres on the Jag a couple of weeks ago and the guys there had a mint Sierra 3 dr saloon. Just a 1.6 GL or something but a real trip down memory lane.
Also there was a mint Escort Mexico. I looked at this most basic of '70s cars and pondered that if I suggested I swap the XE for it, he'd probably want a considerable amount of folding in the deal too. :o
Not for me, but nice to see them all the same. ;D

Thats the original colour although is was painted twice, the first time not buy my painter i might add. It was a GLX

Mum had an Escort in Aquafoam blue, so a bit of a soft spot :D
At least they chose to lose the red accents from the side mouldings :y
