Instead I spent the £600 on vet fees. :(
She had to have an operation on her foot and can only walk, on a lead, for ten minutes each day for the next two weeks. I'll be climbing the fickin walls. :o

Ah poor little thing. :( Does she have to wear the cone of shame? ;D

I'm sure Uncle Stemo will lend her his cone of shame (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fancy-Dress-Adult-Dunce-Hat/113837730999?epid=1138340308&hash=item1a8141ecb7:g:B0MAAOSwbYddQYIx) ;D
hope the little fluffball recovers speedily ;)

Couldn't your whippet simply 'run it off'......like stitch at school?

She would if I didn't have a cunning plan ;D

Would the same work with a poorly canine leg?

I'm sure the cute little mutt is worth every penny. :-*

We have spent 14 omegas this year on vet bills for our dog. All from an undiagnosed remnant from a grass seed in ear drum. You get to a point where you just have to keep spending. Apart from a lopsided mouth, dead left side of face, deaf in that ear and poor eyesight in one eye , he is fine.
Wishing your dog a speedy recovery.

Thanks, Varche. This was, believe it or not, a piece of hardened mud that had worked itself under the skin and caused a large, necrotised lump between her toes. She is very active, chasing squirrels and running around, and I've been advised to clean between her toes after every walk.
My fault then.

Sorry to hear about your dog Steve, but at least it sounds like you've got it all under control but in all honesty they are worth every penny for the pleasure they give + unconditional love, always very wary of folk who say that they don't like dogs. Hope you are back to daily normal walks soon it's certainly kept us sane over the last few months.

Whilst you're stuck with walking her around the garden, you can watch A Dog's Way Home (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Dog%27s_Way_Home) on Netflix.
I defy you not to blub your way through it...
Hopefully she'll be mended soon ;)

Joking aside I hope she gets better soon. Better friends than most humans ever are :)

Yep, I'd have preferred it if the wife was having the operation.

Can't immediately think of any car[certainly not an Omega]on which I'd spend £600 in one go,but the dog? yes most certainly that much and more if necessary.
