On it's own? No chips or drink? That is expensive, but if people are willing to pay........
I'll bet not many order fish, I wonder how many years it's been frozen ;D

Serves you right for going to McDonalds in the first place :P

I have a Big Mac about once every six months, I quite like it.

Had a Big Mac last August on the way home from Cornwall not bad, but sooner have KFC, but can't remember the last time I had any.

I stopped eating KFC when I found out all the chicken is halal.

Ah... So the chickens just get their throat cut with a blunt knife with some bloke muttering mumbo jumbo, rather than having their heads dipped in electrified water to stun them before having their throats cut without the mumbo jumbo? ???
Is that why it's so tasty? :)

Me to, but I have to be within 45 mins of home* before the guaranteed volcano that erupts
*or other comfy potty with plenty of bog roll and sometimes a shower nearby...

Was that in the 1970s?

The second method is obviously more humane, and a lot less religious.

Agreed. The practice should be banned, as should the import of meat slaughtered this way. :y
And those who don't like it can go live somewhere where their medieval practices are tolerated or become a vegan! :)

Agreed keep their fkg non evolved crap to themselves

1st burger place I ever tried was a Wimpy in Sheffield around 1990/92
Cant remember my 1st McD. When my Mum passed in 2000 the drive throughs were about all I lived on for a while, then I didnt touch them for a while but when I did I reliased how bland they were.
last few years all I have bothered with is the fish or chicken. If I fancy a snack and I have company in the car we tend to enjoy the 20 nuggets box.
But I dont have many takeaways these days, getting tight in my old age.

Never understood why they allowed it to change from the original recipe, but then this would turn into a very long and possibly very volatile conversation.

Just out of interest I owned a chippy from 1985 to 89.
Fish. .60p (4oz)
Chips .30p
Peas .20p /.30p (4oz/7oz)
Trays .2p
Fish/chips & peas on a tray £1.12
Greeks came along I lost a lot of trade. A customer told me they gave bigger portions.
Fish £1.10 (7oz)
Chips .40p spread out on a greaseproof.
Peas .25p /.35p (4oz/7oz)
Trays .2p
So we got the customer to tell us when to stop with a portion of chips. Then we put them in one of our chips bags and actually had to top it up.
They were basically paying more for less food.
Now Fish and chips cost around £7.60 to £8.30 in Rotherham/Sheffield.
Not sure what you all pay around the areas you live.

Our local chippie closed down about 8 years ago and is now a pizza/kebab shop.Nearest chippie is now above a mile away so I rarely go there but last time I did[above a year ago now]fish, chips and peas were above £6.50p

MCD chicken comes from Wales, Well it's processed there, They electrocute them, put chicken on to conveyer belt, thro a water bath, zap dead. Unless it comes from Thailand then gawd knows how they dispatch them.

This is what has always made me laugh when the Lefty/Remainers bang on about US chlorinated chicken. ::)
Have a look at the ingredients on a chicken ready meal, sandwich etc and it's odds on the chicken comes from Thailand. As BG says god knows what the conditions are there... :-\ :-X
