Just spotted this on my early morning car perusing, 50k, down in Gatwick:

Strong money but someone could haggle and then put a bit of cash into it, bushes and the like...

No MOT? If people want to sell a car why can't they get an MOT first. Since there isn't any MOT I'd assume the worst and that it needs major repairs.

It's only just out of MOT and in general it's had a reasonable pass rate. The misfire might just be a coil pack .... :-\

Advert clearly states it will come with a 12month MOT. :y
Temperature gauge is something of concern to me.

They also seem to be showing a similarly low mileage Desmond. Not as desirable, but the only one I've ever seen in that shade of metallic blue/green

but they also have a reasonable V6 2.6 .... https://www.raccars.co.uk/car-56938636?i=2&m=vd 78000 miles is nothing

Ah I'm getting nostalgic for the long lost days when someone would post up an Omega ad from Ebay/Autotrader and we'd pick holes in the car/ad/seller over several pages! :( ;D

That interior isn't doing it for me... :)

That's approximately where the temp gauge sits on all mine whilst ticking over, give or take a little depending on whether the fans are about to or have kicked in...

Relative to the first ad, that's approximately where the temp gauge sits on all mine whilst ticking over, give or take a little depending on whether the fans are about to or have kicked in...

Temp gauge doesnt look for out to me. ???

Temp looks fine. But, it would have been running for a while to reach operating temp. Why therefore, is the Rev counter so high at idle, on a warm engine?

Exactly, and the instant consumption at 0.5g/h suggests it's just been fired up.
Towing Eye cover missing, cracked rear bumper, god awful interior...... that's seriously strong money, especially considering its being sold as a 'trade deal', which I can only assume the seller is trying to distance themselves from the 3month mandatory warranty. :-\

the grey cdx certainly the pick of the bunch there in my opinion. bar the little crack in front bumper and maybee change the seats.price not realy an issue if its as good as it looks as it would cost more than that to get the body up to that standard anyway.on cars this age its the body/ underside that matters. very unusual nowadays to find a garage with 3 for sale thou

The little crack in the bumper won't just be that though...

If I had too ,but logistically it rarely works ,apart from my mum's astra ,which hasn't really moved since Chinese virus and 1 zafira also dormant , the rest are used all the time ,so can't really "borrow" parts ;D
-
I know someone who owned a pair of S3 landys for this exact reason. Although in his case the borrowed parts amounted to the registration and VIN plates. :-X
:D

All 4 astra H's are very rare star silver 3 ,
that's 4 MOT's ,RFL , insurance :-\ :-X ;D

Four number plates would be cheaper... :o

2 of them are parked at the same address ,so it might look a bit suspect :P
